Dozens of students from Court Fields School in Wellington attended the new Careers Fair held this week at Junction 24 and organised by Taunton organisation, One Step Foundation.
Over 2000 students made use of the event where 80 businesses and education establishments were represented. It was the largest and most comprehensive carers fair for 12 – 18 year olds in Somerset.
"This was a much needed event. The more information and guidance we can give our young people the better equipped they will be to make the right choices to prepare them for going out into the working world" says Prospective Taunton Deane MP Rebecca Pow. "With young children myself I know how important this is and this event was extremely helpful in highlighting opportunities and options for children leaving school in this area."
