This year, Taunton Deane MP Rebecca Pow held a Christmas card competition and invited the people of Taunton Deane to take part.
22 year-old Charlotte Winborn from Wellington, won first place in the competition.
Charlotte, who previously attended Court Fields School in Wellington, took a two year break from her studies due to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome before enrolling at Taunton and Bridgwater College in Graphic Design.
Her design, which features a design of the iconic Market House building in Taunton, will now appear on the front of Rebecca’s official card, which she will be sending out to local businesses and community groups.
Rebecca met with Charlotte in her Taunton office to present her with her prize and a certificate for her winning entry.
Commenting on the competition, Rebecca said: ‘“I am so impressed with the quality and variety of entries to my competition this year. Well done to Charlotte, as well as to everybody who sent in such fantastic entries. I was very pleased to see the artistic talent that we have in Taunton Deane.’
