Prospective Conservative MP, Rebecca Pow meets Head, Peter Hoare to congratulate them on achieving and Outstanding accreditation from OFSTED this week.

‘The school have not been assessed by OFSTED  since 2006 and it is such good news to hear that it has come our with flying colours and  the good work the whole team at Heathfield is delivering has been recognised. Academic results continue to be superb but this school is so much more than that with it’s emphasis on dance and  drama, its’s new BTEC in drama at The Space and also the successful Cedar Centre, a specialist centre for Autistic children. It is a shining  example of how excellent education is being  delivered to students in Taunton Deane. It is important that in future we stand up for fair funding for Somerset schools and I will be working on this.‘
