Olympic gold medal winning rower and all round action man, James Cracknell stopped off in Taunton for a pre Christmas visit  to meet Rebecca Pow, Prospective Conservative MP for Taunton as he starts his campaign to become a South West  Member of the European Parliament.

"This is a new and exciting challenge" says Cracknell "I am looking forward to returning to the constituency in the New Year to meet people and to become more familiar with the area which I hope to have the privilege of representing in Europe following the elections in May 2014."
