Proving that hard work and determination pay off, 23 year old Cat Brown has just launched her expanded health and beauty business, The Lavender Rooms at Hestercombe.
From small beginnings in as a one room business in her parents’ house in Taunton, Cat has gradually expanded the operation so that now she has taken over a whole floor above the historic Coach House and shop at Hestercombe. She has also taken on a partner and some part time staff. Rebecca Pow, Prospective Conservative MP for Taunton, cut the ribbon, at a champagne and cup cake reception for over 50 Lavender Room clients:
"This is a great story of enterprise and hard work and shows that young people can succeed and start up their own businesses if they are determined. The Lavender Rooms is in a wonderfully relaxing location and the beauty treatment and holistic therapy facilities are excellent. I take my hat off to Cat and her whole team."
