There has been a significant increase in the number of proposed 'renewables' developments, particularly wind turbines and solar parks, within the 10 Parishes of Ashbrittle, Bathealton, Brompton Ralph, Chipstable, Clatworthy, Fitzhead, Huish Champflower, Milverton, Stawley, and Wiveliscombe. Friends of the Hills (FOTH) has been established in response to the Government's recent announcement that the wishes of local communities should be foremost when planning applications are decided.
FOTH are meeting at 6pm on Friday 30 August, at Waterrow Village Hall to discuss this in more detail.
