MP Rebecca Pow visited Mecca Bingo in Taunton on Friday evening to receive a cheque for a whopping £250k which has been raised nationally for the children's charity, Variety.

Rebecca said 'I want to commend everyone at Mecca Bingo, both staff and players for the incredible efforts they have put in to raise a huge amount of money for a vital charity to help our children. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Taunton venue which included calling a game of bingo. Bingo is not only great fun, it's also a fantastic social outlet for some people in our communities that also helps to keep the brain active and stimulated.'
