On Sunday, I took part in Remembrance services across Taunton Deane.
I started the day by watching the moving service at St Mary Magdalene's Church in Taunton which was followed by a tremendous parade. It was also incredible to see such a vast crowd turn out for the service, wreath laying and 2 minute silence at Vivary Park.
Later, I visited Wellington where the whole town commemorated the Armistice with such dignity and pride. I was truly honoured to be a part of it.
To end the day, I went to my local church to hear the bells rang out. The bells here are the oldest set of bells cast together left in the country.
Well done to everyone for making this commemoration of the Armistice so special across the whole of Taunton Deane,
