Taunton Deane's Prospective MP Rebecca Pow has welcomed new research that shows nearly half of people affected by the Government’s Benefit Cap say they are now planning to look for work.

Rebecca Pow's campaign for an increase in funding for local farmers has been rewarded as Owen Patterson, minister for the environment, announced that farmers in Somerset now have access to grants up to £35,000, a seven fold increase in the money available through the flood recovery fund.
